First: why does this screen not photograph well? This what’s taken at near eye level with my phone. It looks tacked on like everyone complains about. When I’m driving it just blends into the dash.
Second: why can’t I turn or angle it towards me? I rarely have passengers but even when I do, why do they need to see the screen? They’re not driving. I can see it just fine but I miss driver centric controls. All new car controls are flat faced to the interior (with few exceptions). Shouldn’t they be angled toward the driver for safety and ease?
Third: what if dogs were held criminally liable for the things they do. Example: if a person licks a child in the mouth, they go to jail and get put on a list; a dog does it and the kid laughs. Could you imagine a dog court? “Fluffy, you are sentenced to 1 year probation and therapy for unwanted crotch sniffing”
Fourth: if dogs could talk, would we keep them as pets? I imagine it’d be like having a kid that says whatever they’re thinking. “I’m hungry” “SQUIRREL!!” “Mommy, why was daddy naked wrestling with the nanny?”
Fifth: why does the new civic look like a crosstour?

I wish the nav screen in my focus was more angled toward me too. It just makes sense.

Not angles because that’s one less part to make differently for RHD/LHD markets. I guess.

All of these “tacked on” screens don’t photograph well but I implore anyone to try it out and see that it is actually not bad at all. One of the things on the new C class that I hated was that screen, after a week in the loaner it was a non issue and going back to my W204 the old fashioned screen looked downright archaic. It blends in well while you drive and works really really well for that car. Would I love it if the C had an interior like the new E? Yes but the phablet isn’t all that bad.

In person it's really not bad and having the screen up high is a benefit.

That's my thinking. Thing is, at least on mine, the only part that isn't already L/R specific is the center stack where the airbag light is and the AC controls are. Those are already flat plug and play affairs that could be angled. The dash above is clearly drive side specific. The console could be either but clearly easier for RHD on mine. I know it comes down to that one (or a few) specific part being cheaper to produce but it would be nice.

I think if dogs could talk us humans would have hunted them all down and made them extinct by now. Could we really live in a world where people, or any animal, just speaks the truth or whatever is on their mind?
